The Community Park Designers (CPDs) is a cohort-based program that supports community members to directly utilize collective decision-making power to further advance the Petaluma River Park’s mission. The ideal CPD is someone who is/wants to be an active community member, has local knowledge, and wants to engage in meaningful activities with the Petaluma River Park Foundation to co-create a legacy park for all.
We especially encourage the nominations of people who identify as:
LGBTQIA2+
BIPOC (Black Indigenous and other People of Color)
Elders
Youth (under 24 years of age)
Unhoused
Individuals with disabilities
Individuals experiencing economic hardship
Multilingual
This is a 1-year commitment (64 hours total) from March 2025 to March 2026 with an $2250 stipend (paid in installments).
