Then board kayaks and head into the tangled channels of our watershed, keeping an eye out for otters, seals, eagles, herons, and perhaps the elusive, endangered Rail. Complete the journey with a meticulously sourced lunch aboard, provided by River Park fanatics at Bay Laurel Culinary, and take a quick peek into San Pablo Bay before returning to home base.

Fund the Future Park: Bring Bruce Johnson’s Red Bluff to Petaluma River Park

Everyone attending the Crab Feed is invited to participate in the “Fund the Fun” portion of the evening at a donation level of their choice. Prior to his untimely death last year, the nationally renowned artist Bruce Johnson promised the magnificent sculpture Red Bluff to Petaluma River Park. Made from repurposed redwood from California’s north coast, Red Bluff is slated to be an impressive organic play structure for park users of all ages and will serve as a visually stunning element in the park landscape. Your donation will help fund installation of this special piece.
